Darletta Turner is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor with a Supervision designation (LPCC-S) who has a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and has a Master’s degree in Community Counseling both from the University of Akron. She has a focus on mental health services that promote the physical, psychosocial, and/or vocational well-being of the persons being served particularly for populations in urban communities. She is also interested in the potential benefits of integrated services resulting from the collaboration between primary care and behavioral health providers.

Darletta has 25 years of experience providing counseling services to children, adults, and families in school settings in the home, and in agency settings. She has served in the role of Clinical Director for a both a community mental health and substance use recovery agency. She also has experience as a Clinical Compliance Auditor as well as collaborated and served on multiple interdisciplinary teams and supervised other counselors in the mental health field.

She was bestowed the Counselor and Social Justice CSJ 'Ohana Honors Award which honors individuals in counseling who affirm diversity and advocate for social justice in the spirit of nine elements of the indigenous Hawaiian concept of 'Ohana (or "extended family"): caring, humility, intelligence, generosity, integrity and honesty, unconditional love, spiritual power, courtesy and courage. CSJ is a division of the American Counseling Association.
